London nightclub Tape welcomed former Saturdays pop singer-turned-solo star, Vanessa White, to its intimate live music space on Thursday night.

Neither the threat of a post-Brits hangover nor the high-speed winds of Storm Doris stopped the audience of invited guests packing out the Mayfair nightclub’s live space to see White perform.

With her spirit buoyed by the reception, White glowed as she sang Relationship Goals, and her latest single, Good Good, taken from her forthcoming second EP, Chapter Two.

Earlier in the evening, New York’s MAAD was magnetic. She crooned impressively on 90s Love, and shook her hips to her seductive new slow jam, Touch Me.

Upcoming Southend indie band, Youth Club, also performed a three-track acoustic set of reflective pop. The band has received wide praise in the time since their 2014 Colours EP.
