Pat Lok is the dude. Seriously. The tunes he’s released over the last year or so have been such incredible demonstrations of what dance-pop should be. His whole Hold On Let Go album is a treat, but we’re picking out the best of the unheard stuff today: Hollywood with Kye Sones (yep, the same one from the X Factor) is a brassy banger, Mar Vista is an American Boy-esque low-key R&B leaner, and True Power with Claire Mortifee puts the big beats aside for a proper summer rooftop chill. Honestly, this might well be one of our favourite albums of the year, and you’ll see exactly why below.
