Yes, yes, YES, Tamaryn. As much as we loathe general 80s music, we don’t half enjoy a good throwback (see also: Samantha Urbani). Hands All Over Me – from the New Yorker’s upcoming third album, Cranekiss – is so immaculate that we don’t quite have the superlatives to explain. It might be a bit far from the excellent Mazzy Star-channelling shoegaze of The Garden, but it’s an exciting direction nonetheless. All we can say is hit play, sit back, and enjoy one of the finest songs of the year.
